by Hwasa
August 5, 2020
Produced by LOGOS
LIVE joined Hwasa of Kpop group MAMAMOO and producer LOGOS to create "I'm bad too" during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
LIVE started writing IAOT? shortly after returning home from the Coming To You Live World Tour. During the tour he had experienced an extended period of anxiety and self-doubt. There was a point at which he even considered stopping making music, but he was able to push through it and find his passion for making music again. He used that experience as inspiration for this studio album. On track #3 "To Whoever" LIVE shared part of his personal life story in a spoken word song.
It was also the first album for which DPR designed and printed physical copies. They had a limited number made that were available for purchase after the album dropped. The albums sold out quickly, so DPR REM worked out a second printing.
As with everything they do, DPR put a lot of thought and work into the design of the Is Anybody Out There? physical album. DPR REM was the mastermind behind the design and production. The album came vacuum sealed in a shiny foil wrapper with a sticker label applied to the front. The package had to be cut or torn to open it. The CD was housed inside a circular metal tin embossed with "DPR." The tin also contained a flash drive underneath the CD. Many fans bough two albums so that they could open one and leave the other sealed. (The first and second printing can be identified by the small cuts on the side of the second pressing for easier opening of the packaging.)
On March 4, 2020 DPR Cream posted some behind the scenes footage from when they recorded the strings for "Kiss Me."
On March 8, 2020 DPR LIVE shared a demo of a track that didn't make it on the album.
On March 25, 2020 DPR posted a 27 minute documentary "LIFT-OFF" about the creation of Is Anybody Out There?, the physical album, and the intricate music videos. It gave the most in-depth window to date into DPR's passion, process and teamwork.

"So Beautiful"
by DPR IAN
October 27, 2020
The first hint that IAN was working on something new came in an Instagram post on October 15, 2020: "Let's try this again."
On October 18, 2020 he posted: "See additional symptoms."
On October 21, 2020 he announced the release of his first official single with DPR on October plus the words "Here we go!"
On October 23, 2020 a :30 teaser for "So Beautiful" was posted on DPR's YouTube. DPR REM pinned this comment under the video: "NO ONE IS READY." He wasn't kidding. The images of IAN in the video were dark and a bit scary. It was a side that IAN had never shown publicly before.
On October 27, 2020 "So Beautiful" was released. REM's comment under the video on YouTube: "witness history -DPR." No one but DPR and those in their inner circle knew that "So Beautiful" was just the beginning of IAN's return to making music.

IAN continued to drop hints on his Instagram after the release of "So Beautiful."
On November 12, 2020 he posted a video with the caption: "Maybe It Took Over Intro by @articxox."
On December 15, 2020 a :20 teaser for "No Blueberries" was posted on DPR's YouTube. REM pinned this crumb under the video: "the holy trinity. coming soon. -DPR." It was a hint that the track would be a collaboration between IAN, LIVE and CL.
On December 17, 2020 "No Blueberries" was released. (Note that LIVE says in his verse: "Yo, Mito, pass me the tea." This was the only mention of MITO until IAN announced the release date and name of his album the following February.)
"Hop In" (ft. Hwasa, DPR LIVE)
by Uhm Jung Hwa
December 22, 2020
Hwasa and LIVE joined legendary Kpop artist Uhm Jung Hwa on this retro 90's vibe single. LIVE once again worked in both of his sonic signature phrases "coming to you live" and "iite cool" into his rap verse in the middle of the track.
Unlike any other album before, DPR did quite a bit of promotional work leading up to the release of IAN's first album.
The two singles ("So Beautiful" and "No Blueberries") that had already been released were clearly connected visually and sonically, but no one knew exactly what the story was to link them together.
On December 28, 2020 IAN posted a video with a note on Instagram indicating that the two songs were part of a series and more would be coming in the new year.
IAN announced on February 3, 2021 that his first EP would finally be released. Pre-orders for a physical copy of the album were available for purchase via a special website they'd set up (which is no longer active).
On February 12, 2021 IAN revealed the cover of his album and that release date would be March 12, 2021. Again, the album art was done by Kim Juseung (@rarebirth).
On February 15, 2021 IAN shared pictures of the physical album. REM also shared a selfie with the album on that day.
Similar to LIVE's Is Anybody Out There? album, the physical album would be a work of art itself. Again, REM was the mastermind behind it. The cover featured heat sensitive ink. The album title and artwork would only be revealed by a warm hand pressed against the cover or with a lighter. Inside the right cover was a glass mirror that had been hand-cracked by the DPR team. The CD on the left side featured an eye with a blue and black iris.
On February 24, 2021 the full album name of Moodswings In This Order and the track list were revealed.
On March 1, 2021 DPR uploaded "Memories In Disorder," a 13:30 first look into MITO. IAN shared the deeply personal subject matter of the album as well as his thoughts on each track.
On March 4, 2021 DPR posted an official trailer for the album release on their YouTube page with a portion of "Welcome To The Show."
"Nerves"
by DPR IAN
March 11, 2021
Note from IAN on his Instagram about the song: "I took it back to the moments leading up to the transformation into mito ~ where he was at his most vulnerable ! Through a painful mistake ! It would lead him down a split path."
Moodswings In This Order
DPR IAN
March 12, 2021
The album tells the story of IAN's experience with bipolar disorder. He creates the character of Mito to represent the darker side of himself, the person that comes out when he drops into his downs. Instead of regarding Mito as a weakness, IAN has come to think of him more as a superhero.
"Yellow Cab"
by DPR LIVE
July 2, 2021
LIVE started dropping hints in June 2021 that a new album would be coming in July.
"Yellow Cab" was released as a single leading up to IITE COOL. It had a new sound for LIVE and harkened back his past days of listening to punk rock.
(In an Instagram Live with IAN celebrating the release of IITE COOL, REM made a comment while listening to "Yellow Cab" that all of the DPR members had gone through a punk rock phase as teenagers.)
IITE COOL EP
DPR LIVE
July 23, 2021
IITE COOL was produced by DPR Cream and ampoff, both of whom also played instruments on the album.
The album name was an homage to LIVE's signature catch phrase "iite cool," which he'd used since his debut song in 2015. (His other signature phrase "coming to you live" had already been used for the name of his 2017 EP.)
LIVE started writing IITE COOL immediately after completing Is Anybody Out There? After the intensity of IAOT, LIVE wanted to make a fun and sexy album for his fans to enjoy during the summer. (Summer 2021 was the second summer of the COVID-19 pandemic.)
As well as featuring on "Hula Hoops," rapper Beenzino and Kpop idol Hwasa contributed in writing the lyrics for the track along with LIVE.
DPR IAN had previously written "Boom" and offered it to LIVE to round out the album after hearing the other songs LIVE had for IITE COOL. IAN also featured on the track on the album.
DPR chose to do a more traditional physical album for IITE COOL. As usual, DPR REM spearheaded the album design and production. The cover and album artwork was created by Juseung Kim.

May 1, 2022

"Ballroom Extravaganza"
by DPR IAN
July 26, 2022
Last minute, DPR IAN decided to release "Ballroom Extravaganza" as a single three days before MIITO album was set to drop. Because DPR is independent, he could make a decision like that and DPR REM would help make it happen. He had created a 1:16 teaser for his MIITO Movie and used "BE" as the background music.
Moodswings In To Order album
DPR IAN
July 29, 2022
MIITO is IAN's second album but first full-legth album. It has 12 tracks and features a full theatrical film-like sound with shifting tempos and emotions to carry the listener along with DPR IAN as he experiences the highs and lows of his bipolar disorder.
While in production, this album was nicknamed MITO2, but for the album work DPR decided to stylize the abbreviation on the album artwork with double letter "I" in the middle instead of 2. Therefore, this album is affectionately called MIITO for short (said stretching out the "i" sound).
Before the album came out, DPR released its artwork and track list as well as details about the physical album, which features heat-sensitive ink like the first MITO album. All of the DPR crew has posted about the album on their social media pages.
DPR announced that they filmed so much footage that they couldn't pick what to cut, so they decided to put it all together as a short film, called MIITO Movie.
NOTE FROM ADMIN: During the 2022 Regime World Tour, DPR LIVE told the audience at several shows that he was working on new albumS. Yes, the word "album" was plural, so more than one. He hinted that one may already done. Since then, DREAMers have been on the lookout for any hints of new music from DPR LIVE. One possible hint came at The 2023 Regime Tour Finale in Seoul shows. DPR LIVE's entrance was to a partial new song called "Rust."
ARCHIVES, Pt. 2album
DPR IAN, DPR LIVE, DPR CREAM & DPR ARTIC
March 17, 2023
This compilation album was a surprise gift for DREAMers. DPR dropped ARCHIVES 2 without any prior waring. It included background music from past collaborations (such as "SYNC" for Adidas x DPR Sync Pack) as well as remixes and new songs for the Regime Tour Finale in Seoul.
"Showcase 001, 002 and 003" were played by DPR CREAM and DPR ARTIC to open the Seoul Finale shows.
For DPR IAN's part of the finale, they made "MITO REBORN," and the track "Avalon Interlude - Band Version" was captured live during the show.
"Rust," "Legacy - Redefined," "Deja Vu," and "NEON - Redefined," were used for DPR LIVE's set.
Basically, the release of these tracks made it possible for DREAMers to make playlists that would recreate the Finale in Seoul show setlist and relive the finale over and over.
This compilation also marks DPR ARTIC's debut on a DPR album and marks solo profiles under his name on Spotify and other streaming platforms.
